Informed Decision Making Overview

Informed decision making is a way to engage patients, clients, and peers in their own care by working in partnership with them to identify the best course of action. It involves supporting people to consider the potential benefits and risks associated with their options, while factoring in their values and preferences. This workshop highlights key concepts of informed decision making and provides a five step model to support collaborative decision making.

This workshop is offered online as a 1.25 hour single session.

The Informed Decision Making Overview workshop was developed by the Centre for Collaboration, Motivation and Innovation (CCMI).
