Forest Bathing Agenda
We may think of time in nature as “time off” from our busy lives and not aware of the direct health benefits to this activity. Research has proved that spending time in nature can
reduce blood pressure, lower stress, improve cardiovascular and metabolic health, lower blood sugar levels, improve concentration and memory, improve creativity and problem-solving skills, lift depression, improve pain thresholds, improve energy, boost the immune system, increase- anti-cancer protein production, and help with weight reduction.
Knowing that time in nature contributes to our well-being can help us prioritize spending time with nature – in a forest, our community parks, our backyards, or by bringing plants into our homes.
In this workshop participants learn:
The Background of Forest Bathing
Health Benefits and Scientific Evidence to Support those findings
How to Practice Forest Bathing
How to Bring the benefits of nature into our homes
