Introduction to Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) 1.5 hour 

In l982 Forest bathing was deemed an official wellness practice in Japan and the health benefits of Forest Bathing are now recognized globally.

This introductory workshop is held in a classroom setting. In this class you will learn:

• The health benefits of spending time in nature

• The science behind how the forest is able to support our physical and mental health

• How to practice Forest Bathing

• Resources to learn more

We also invite you to join The Community Health Centres of Northumberland to participate in two guided forest walks.

 The Forest Bathing Walks provide the opportunity to practice Forest Bathing skills in a local forest- to achieve emotional, mental and physical benefits.  Location will be shared after clients attend Part One: Intro Forest Bathing Workshop.  

 Wednesday, May 20th - Two groups - 10:20 am - 11:30 am and 1:20 - 2:30 pm
